Home bar in a cupboard

Found in: Ideas for a home bar

If you a looking to have a home bar that can be kept well and truly out of sight then why not make use of that spare cupboard. Obviously the contents of your home bar depends upon the size of the cupboard, but here are a few tips:
  1. Store a small fridge in your bar to ensure your beer and wine doesn't take up room in the family fridge

  2. Above the fridge add a work surface but remember to leave enough space to remove the fridge

  3. Add a bar mirror to the back wall of the cupboard because not only do they look cool, they will give a better feeling of space and also allow you to see the people behind you as you prepare their drinks

  4. Add a set of optics to one side of the wall, wall mounted ones are the obvious choice here although a carousel would also work

  5. Finishing touches to your bar could include a branded beer mat or cocktail caddy

Please Note: You must always ensure that any fridge has suitable ventilation
