Getting started

Find your local sports hall, most towns and even villages have a sports hall or community centre. Most will have available sessions throughout the week in which you can play badminton.

What you need

To play badminton all you really need is a net, a couple of badminton raquets and some shuttlecocks, oh and of course somewhere to play.

What to wear

As badminton will typically take place in a sports hall you will be required to wear suitable indoor trainers, basically they just need to have non-marking soles.
