Pass the parcel

This is the ultimate classic kids party game. To prepare the game simply wrap a prize in layer after layer of wrapping paper. You can also add a small prize (such as a small sweet) in each layer so all kids win something.

The kids should sit round in a circle and while the music plays, "pass the parcel" around the circle one child at a time. Then when the music stops the child holding parcel opens a layer to see if they have won the prize.

Simple but effective way to control a large group of kids!
