Florence (Italy)

Found in: Ideas for romantic holidays

Florence is arguably the most romantic place I have ever been. I'm not sure any future destination will compare and I would take my wife back there tomorrow!

We stayed in the Hotel Davanzati. The hotel is situated in a typical Florentine building, right next to the Museo of Palazzo Davanzati, in Florence historical centre. This hotel is just minutes walk from all the main sites including the Academia, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio amongst others. Other romantic sights worth a visit are the view from Piazza Michelangelo and the Boboli Gardens.

Enjoy the sights, enjoy the food, enjoy the atmosphere and most of all enjoy Florence.
